Garcinia Cambogia hype or reality.

Garcinia Cambogia also known as Malabar tamarind. It’s a tropical fruit very popular weight-loss food supplement. This fruit actually puts a break on your appetite. It is easily found and available on the shelf and also available online. But is this a reality or just hype created by marketing department. It is believed that hydroxycitric acid or HCA present in the fruit burns fat at a very fast pace and appetite for food is completely lost. It also raises brain chemical serotonin which fools your brain and removes the urge of hunger.

This fruit also increases insulin thereby controls glucose excessive inflow for diabetic patients. Some research has also shows that Garcinia Cambogia improves cholesterol level thereby levelling triglycerides and LDL termed as “bad” cholesterol and increasing HDL termed as “good” cholesterol. However the actual weight loss results are not as impressive as feature stated above. Comparative weight loss results are not very impressive. People with intake of Garcinia Cambogia and without this fruit intake weight loss difference is not much.

Side Effects: In the year 2009, some research showed that people taking Garcinia Cambogia fruit have complaints about having lever problems. Therefore Food and Drug administration have suggested against this fruit. It is also not clear as to what all other ingredients are present in the fruits that might be harmful. Other than this dizziness, stomach upset, dry mouth and diarrhea are other side effects. Therefore it is strongly suggested to consult doctors before beginning or continuing this fruit for weight loss or other heath benefit reasons. We need to be extra cautious while using this fruit or its part even though it is termed as Natural. This does not guarantee it to be safe. Exercise, diet change are the only true tried and tested method of weight loss and if it is practiced thoroughly these quick fixes might never gain popularity to be misloaded.
